Forum Rules
1) We ask that you keep posts and language courteous and respectful of Latter-day Saint values and beliefs.
2) When posting, please consider the following guidelines: The title of each thread should clearly state the topic of the thread. Try to keep posts relevant to the thread in question. While we recognize that thread drift is sometimes inevitable, if you feel that you are moving onto a different subject, please feel free to start a new topic for discussion!
3) We encourage posters to work towards finding common ground and understanding and to foster a spirit of mutual respect. Differences of opinion are part of what makes a discussion interesting and informative and allows us to learn much from each other. However, should a discussion become contentious or antagonistic, posters are invited to take their concerns to one another in private. Any lengthy, contentious and/or heated discussions will be closed for posting.
4) Refrain from personal attacks, ad hominem, and from using cruel, harassing, vulgar or abusive language in posts. This also applies to manipulative tactics such as twisting and wresting another poster’s words.

5) Posters only interested in attacking The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or other religious beliefs, or who post details regarding sacred LDS temple rites will be banned from this forum. Similarly, posters who attempt to disrupt this forum with multiple identities and questionable threads or commercial internet links (Spam) will also be banned and their posts deleted without warning.
6) Consequences for violating forum rules will range from deletion or editing of offensive posts; to warnings, temporary gagging and possible banning of a poster from the forum. Violations will be dealt with at the discretion of forum staff. If you have an issue with any decision you are welcome to contact staff with your concerns. Public discussion of staff decisions is not permitted in the forum.
